McScoop The Poop – Service Terms & Conditions
Client Responsibilities
• Clients are responsible for providing safe, clear, and unobstructed access to the yard on all scheduled service days.
• If service cannot be completed due to locked gates, blocked access, aggressive pets, unsafe conditions, or failure to provide access, the visit will be charged as completed.
• Clients must immediately notify McScoop The Poop of any change in the number of pets using the yard.
• Clients are responsible for ensuring pets are secured during service.
Card on File & Deposit Requirement
• A valid credit or debit card must be kept on file before any services are scheduled or performed.
• A $50 deposit is required prior to initial cleanups & one-time cleanups.
• The deposit will be applied toward the initial cleanup service.
• Services will not begin until both the card on file and deposit are received.
Billing Structure
• Services are billed as a flat monthly rate for ongoing yard maintenance, not per visit.
• The base pet waste removal service (scooping) is considered a recurring maintenance service and is non-refundable and not subject to credits.
• Monthly pricing reflects the total ongoing service provided over time, including variations in the number of service weeks per month.
Service Plans & Add-Ons
• McScoop The Poop offers tiered service plans, including but not limited to The Lucky Scoop (base waste removal), The Golden Haul (waste removal with haul-away), The Clover Cleanse (sanitation service), and The Shamrock Supreme (waste removal with haul-away and sanitation).
• All plans include the base pet waste removal service, which is billed as ongoing maintenance and is not subject to credits or refunds.
• Add-on services such as haul-away and sanitation—including those included within service plans—may be credited if they are not performed during a scheduled visit.
• Credits apply only to the add-on portion of the service and do not apply to the base waste removal service.
Weather & Service Interruptions
• Inclement weather — including but not limited to snow, ice, freezing temperatures, heavy rain, or unsafe ground conditions — may make it hazardous or impossible to perform a scheduled cleanup.
• If a scheduled service is missed due to weather conditions, the visit will be completed on the next scheduled service day when conditions are safe.
• No refunds or credits will be issued for missed visits related to weather for the base service.
• Add-on services may be credited at McScoop The Poop’s discretion if they are not performed due to weather conditions.
• Clients acknowledge that missed weather-related visits result in additional workload, particularly during winter months when snow or frozen ground may conceal waste.
• Snow-covered yards may delay waste removal until waste becomes visible. No credits will be issued for delayed visibility due to snow cover.
Service Pauses
• If your pet(s) will not be using the yard for a period of time (vacation, illness, etc.) and you wish to avoid charges, advance notice is required to pause service.
• Services not paused in advance will be billed as scheduled.
• Pause requests must be submitted before the scheduled service date to take effect.
Payment Terms & Late Fees
• Payment is due upon invoicing unless otherwise agreed in writing.
• Unpaid balances must be paid within fifteen (15) days of the invoice date.
• Accounts with balances unpaid after fifteen (15) days may be subject to late fees, service suspension, or both until payment is received.
• Continued nonpayment may result in termination of service and referral to collections.
Fees, Pricing & Promotions
• All service fees, pricing, and promotional offers are subject to change.
• In the event of a pricing change, clients will be notified at least fourteen (14) days in advance.
Liability Disclaimer
• McScoop The Poop assumes no liability for damage to lawns, landscaping, gates, fences, pets, or other property.
• Clients understand that normal service may involve walking on grass, snow, ice, or uneven ground.
Termination of Service
• Either party may terminate service at any time with written notice.
• All outstanding balances remain due and payable upon termination.
Agreement
• By initiating service, the client acknowledges, understands, and agrees to all terms and responsibilities outlined above.
